Journeys is a semester-long course at Agnes Scott that is accompanied by a week-long trip to a location outside of America. For my Journeys trip, I went to Cuba to learn about nature, race, and medicine. Every course has a specific topic and location, but they all focus on overarching themes of globalization, identity, colonialism, diaspora, and the ethics of travel. For the final of the course, we were tasked with creating a video about everything we had learned throughout the semester and along the trip. I decided to make this little animation.
