I created this portrait of Andre 3000 using chalk and pastels in my high school art class. This was my first time using pastels and I was very proud of how this piece came out. Andre 3000 is one of my favorite artist because of his eclectic style of music and fashion. He is himself in everything that he does and I aspire to continue to express individuality in my every day life.

I made this art work for class my freshman year of college. Me and other classmates recreated a part of a portrait of Jordan Casteel’s mother. Jordan Casteel is a fellow scottie and it is inspiring seeing someone successful come from the college that I attend.

I created this piece in 2021 as a mothers day gift for my mom. I found a picture from when I was a little girl of me and her so I decided to paint it. I used acrylic paint for it and I remember it coming out way more abstract than I wanted it to. However, my mother loved the gift and it is still sitting in our home office.

This piece was created for the pride art exhibit at Agnes Scott College. I created this to pay homage to black drag and ballroom culture with Rupaul as the focal point of the piece.
