my previous art

During my freshman year at Agnes Scott, I engaged heavily with drawing and began to dabble with color in india ink.

I also was more interested in the textural and collage element of my work. Instead of depicting intimate spaces, I created them myself by taking and elminating items from people: faces, items in their rooms, quotes. Some items I added color, and some I felt best to leave black-and-white: the contrast makes the work more sincere.
