I have been speaking Spanish since 2014. While there have been a lot of bumps along the way, it’s a wonderful and eye opening skill. I have made lots of connections with people who don’t speak English. Speaking a different language also gives you a great view of different cultures.

I minor in Spanish, and to fulfill this requirement I spent a month abroad in Spain taking 2 classes. Being immersed in the culture really helped my language skills.
