I am currently a senior (class of 2026) at Agnes Scott college majoring in Creative Arts with a focus in Visual Practices. I am a Spanish minor with interests in Anthropology.
I have taken notable classes at Agnes like:
- Art 240 and Art 340 (Drawing and Advanced Drawing)
This is when I’ve worked on my studio art portfolio the most! I am focused and interested on interior and exterior spaces, especially places I have visited.
- Art 350 (Criticism and Theory)
I loved this class. We discussed readings from Greenberg, Marx, Benjamin, and Baudelaire; we also focused on more contemporary theories and criticisms too.
- Vps 395 (Building DANA: Making History)
This class was so unique. We began by looking at the context of our art building (Dana Fine Arts) designed by John Portman, a famous Atlanta architect. We then discovered how we could repair and renovate the building without damaging the history of its past!
